Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in supporting the sales team and clients throughout the design process. This individual will build strong client relationships, contribute to interior design projects, and support the sales cycle from initial inquiry through order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is client-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about design.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing clients via phone, email, in person, and online platforms.
Assist clients with product selection based on their design needs and preferences.
Support interior design projects, including conceptual development, client consultations, budget tracking, and schedule coordination.
Prepare detailed sales quotes, including product specifications, pricing, and quantities.
Follow up with clients in a timely, professional manner to ensure satisfaction and drive conversion.
Use Salesforce to accurately document all client communications, quotes, and sales activities.
Resolve customer issues or concerns with a high level of service and professionalism.
Consistently work to achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals.
Collaborate with the showroom team to generate leads and nurture client relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience, including order processing and client service.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook.
Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to lift up to pounds and remain active throughout the workday (sitting, standing, walking).
