Position Overview
Ternus is seeking a high-performing Inside Sales Representative based in our Charlotte office to support the capital raising efforts for both our Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) offering and our Ternus Cashflow Fund (506c). This individual will be responsible for investor engagement, education, and conversion, working within established guidelines and under supervision to ensure full compliance with applicable securities regulations.
This is a front-line sales role focused on converting interested prospects into investors through proactive outreach and exceptional follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively contact and educate leads generated from our marketing efforts about our investment offerings.
Make outbound calls and follow-up communications via email, text, and CRM sequences.
Handle investor inquiries and objections, providing clear and accurate information.
Maintain accurate CRM records, call logs, and investor documentation.
Coordinate with compliance to ensure onboarding procedures follow applicable Reg CF and Reg D rules.
Work collaboratively with internal teams (marketing, operations, legal) to streamline investor onboarding.
Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all communications and follow SEC-compliant scripting protocols.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within financial services or investment offerings.
Prior experience working with Reg CF or private placement offerings is a plus.
Strong communication skills with an ability to build rapport quickly.
Detail-oriented and organized, with experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
Comfortable following a repeatable sales process while offering a personalized experience.
Series 63/65/7 licenses are not required but preferred. Training on compliant communication will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary:
$50,000 to $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Incentive Compensation:
Commission-based structure tied to successful investments:
Quarterly performance bonuses based on team and individual goals
Equity/Options (If Applicable):
Eligibility for stock options or profit-sharing plans may be offered after six months based on performance and company policies.

PTO: 3 hours accrued weekly (up to 40 hours rollover; ability to go 40 hours negative in first six months)

This role is structured to comply with securities regulations. The employee will not act in a registered broker-dealer capacity. Compensation will be tied only to qualified investor conversions following regulatory frameworks. All outbound communication, messaging, and investment-related discussions will be compliant with Ternus legal and compliance policies. No commissions are paid for Reg CF unless pre-approved under a compliant intermediary structure.
