About the Opportunity An established and growing electronic components manufacturer is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This is a high-impact role where youll manage a portfolio of 4070 accounts, drive new business, and close deals directly. With a strong focus on B2B relationships, this position offers both stability and growth potential as the organization expands its sales operations.
Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an assigned book of 4070 accounts, ensuring consistent revenue growth and client retention. Develop approximately 12 new customer accounts annually through prospecting, referrals, and trade show engagement. Provide accurate and competitive quotes, negotiate terms, and close sales directly with procurement teams and decision-makers. Maintain detailed account activity using CRM systems (HubSpot or equivalent). Collaborate with product development and leadership teams to align sales strategies with technical product offerings. Support the full sales cycle, ranging from one week to several months, with deal sizes averaging $5K$10K+.
Must-Have Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of B2B sales experience in electronic components. Proven ability to manage 4070 accounts with consistent revenue results. Strong track record of quoting, negotiating, and closing deals directly. Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems. Ability to quickly learn and apply technical product knowledge to client discussions.
Preferred Qualifications Experience sourcing leads from tradeshows and referrals. Familiarity with sales in technical or engineering-driven environments.
Additional Details Sales Target: ~$1.5M in managed revenue. Sales Cycle: 1 week to several months depending on complexity. Lead Sources: Cold calling, email outreach, tradeshows, referrals, and organic leads. Buyers: Primarily procurement teams, with some interaction with product managers and engineers.
