Superior Fence & Rail, a national leader in the fencing industry, is seeking a high-energy, detail oriented Inside Sales Representative – Lead Generation to support our outside sales team. Your mission: connect with prospective customers, gather key project information, and schedule appointments for our field representatives. You'll be the first voice of Superior Fence & Rail—setting the tone for a professional and seamless customer experience.
This is not a cold-calling sales role—it's a strategic lead generation and appointment-setting position that helps fuel our outside team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver friendly, professional service to all prospective customers via phone, text, and email
Set qualified appointments for our outside sales team by understanding customer needs and matching them with the right solutions
Manage inbound and outbound communications, ensuring all inquiries are responded to promptly
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and lead information in the CRM system
Follow structured scripts and call flows to ensure consistent, high-quality messaging
Proactively follow up with warm leads from online forms, events, or referrals
Track and meet daily/weekly KPIs related to outbound calls, contact rate, and appointments set
Collaborate with the outside sales reps to ensure smooth transitions and lead quality feedback
Handle customer objections with professionalism and offer solutions clearly and effectively
What We're Looking For:
Required Skills & Abilities:
High energy and engaging communication style
Quick learner with strong information retention
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Comfortable working in a performance-based environment
Resourceful and solution-driven, even in challenging situations
Strong computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
CRM experience is a plus (but we'll train you if needed)
Preferred Experience:
1+ year in an inside sale, call center, or appointment setting role
Experience working in construction, home services, or retail sales is a plus
