Inside Sales Representative - Lighting/Electrical Wholesale

Looking for a highly motivated full-time inside salesperson, ideally with prior experience in the electrical supplies and/or lighting sector . The position involves aggressively prospecting and developing new relationships within our existing customer base. You need to have the ability to cold call and develop relationships (B2B). You will be required to make +30 calls/day to our existing customer base and handle incoming calls from customers ready to buy. Your commission-based performance will be directly proportional to your ability to communicate and connect with your customer base, so it is essential that you are comfortable on the phone to convince and sell. Customers who buy once often buy again — commissions start with the first sale and are yours as long as you maintain the relationship. Many of our customers purchase $30-40K per month. The sales office is located in West Kendall, Miami. Required: Drive to perform and close sales Good communication skills Experience in electrical supply sector and/or lighting sales (B2C or B2B) is an asset Inside/outside sales experience is an asset Self-motivated and work-driven People skills Attention to detail Dedicated to our brand and products Comfortable with having outbound calling and sales metrics displayed in the sales office Job Purpose: Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new sales relationships within existing accounts, as well as create new accounts by calling on potential sales outlets Assist in submitting orders by quoting and referring to price lists and product literature, using Salesforce CRM technology Resolve customer returns and complaints by investigating issues and developing solutions such as product returns or exchanges; make recommendations to management Gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques to monitor competition Offer: Attractive commission plan, with an upfront draw on future commissions possible.
