JAN-PRO Franchise Development of Northern Illinois is conducting a search for an Outside Sales Representative within the Chicagoland area.

In this role, the account sales representative will work within a defined geographic territory, identifying, targeting and signing new commercial clients for cleaning and disinfecting services. Daily, the account rep will cold call, cultivate relationships, set appointments, gather leads, and assess prospect needs for presenting the best JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting solutions while spending the majority of time closing business in the field. Three years of prior outside sales experience is preferred.

You will work independently and collaboratively as part of a team within your assigned geography to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals.

* You will implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.

* You will serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ambassador to your prospects and overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.

* On-site Surveys. You will meet with the client, develop a needs assessment while conducting a survey, taking measurements to create a customized proposal.

* You will close contracts with businesses for cleaning services which will be performed by JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting franchise owners.

You have a persistent style and the willingness to cold call without issues of rejection, manage your time well, and can present ideas in a clear professional manner on paper, in person, and over the phone.

* Agile Solution Seeker. Two or three prior work experience in another relevant industry

* Skills including teamwork, resilience, negotiating, trust-building, and a "win” mentality.

* Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
