Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will make outbound calls to prospective business clients to schedule qualified meetings for our Business Development Team. Youll serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, generating interest, building rapport, and ensuring a smooth handoff to our Business Development Representatives.
This position is ideal for someone who is ambitious, goal-driven, and eager to learn the fundamentals of business-to-business sales. As you grow in this role, youll have opportunities to advance your sales career and work toward higher-level sales positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective business clients to generate interest in the companys products or services.
- Schedule qualified meetings for the Business Development Team.
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, creating a positive and professional initial experience.
- Build rapport and establish strong relationships with prospects to encourage engagement.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development Representatives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and meeting schedules in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals and performance metrics.
- Continuously learn and develop knowledge of B2B sales processes, products, and market trends.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling where appropriate.
- Support overall sales team initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a call center or IT-related environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and goal-oriented with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (or similar tools).
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving B2B sales environment.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.
Certifications:
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., sales or business development certification) are a plus.
