Description

• Acts as a liaison between the customer, sales team, production, buying/scheduling, manufacturing, finance, and logistics.
• Act as the voice of the business and is in direct daily contact with the customer.
• Conveys the status of orders, pricing, and deliveries to the customer
• Responsible for supporting sales activities such as Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Purchase Orders, Change Orders, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and maintaining both electronic and physical sales order files.
• The Associate also conveys the status of orders, pricing, and deliveries to the customer

Key Responsibilities

• Frequent contact with customers, via telephone or email
• Build & maintain positive relationships with customers
• Entering and updating orders in the ERP system
• Partnering with Accounts Receivable to ensure shipments are cleared to be sent
• Communicate order changes to planning/scheduling
• Communicate product status to the customer
• Participates in corrective and preventive actions
• Communicate with Purchasing regarding third-party vendor quotes and lead times

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Knowledge of working in ERP environments
• Highly skilled in MS Office applications, e. g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Access
• Process orders/change orders,
• Capable of meeting assigned deadlines
• Manufacturing experience desired
• Understanding of sales order management
• Ability to create and maintain sales orders and all related documentation (system and paper files)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Data entry skills
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.A.
