Brimar Industries is looking for a highly motivated and technically capable Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is essential to delivering a fast, professional, and solution-oriented experience to our existing customer base. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, a confident negotiator, and an agile multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, B2B sales environment. You will be responsible for responding to inbound requests for quotes (RFQs), guiding customers through technical product configurations, and building long-term relationships that turn one-time buyers into loyal customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Execution Respond promptly and professionally to inbound RFQs generated by marketing, ensuring rapid engagement with existing customers. Provide consultative pre-sales support including technical product guidance, solution configuration, and use-case alignment. Manage the full sales cycle from quote to close using HubSpot CRM and digital quote-to-order platforms. Own and update your pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and consistent communication with all active opportunities. Customer Engagement Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs, project requirements, and purchasing timelines. Provide an outstanding customer experience with a solutions-focused, value-driven approach. Navigate complex procurement scenarios and lead negotiations with professionalism and confidence. Technical & Market Knowledge Demonstrate and grow technical product knowledge across Brimar’s portfolio of signage, labeling, and traffic control products. Understand and communicate relevant industrial standards and certifications such as ANSI Z535 , OSHA 1910.145 , MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) , and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards. Stay informed about competitor offerings and positioning to effectively differentiate Brimar’s solutions. Process Management Maintain accurate records and sales activity within HubSpot CRM. Work collaboratively with operations, product, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and post-sale support. Identify and suggest improvements to tools, processes, or workflows that improve sales efficiency or customer satisfaction.
Qualifications 3+ years of inside sales experience in a comparable industry (e.g., industrial safety, hardware, tools, or technical B2B products). Proven experience selling physical products that require inventory coordination and meet regulatory certifications. Proficiency with HubSpot CRM and digital quote-to-order platforms. Strong discovery, qualification, and negotiation skills. Comfortable managing multiple concurrent opportunities and follow-ups in a structured, organized manner. Self-starter with strong drive for performance and continuous learning. Passionate about delivering value and solving real-world safety challenges for customers. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and product certifications (e.g., ANSI, OSHA, MUTCD, NFPA). Experience in B2B sales to government, institutional, or industrial buyers. Familiarity with manufacturing lead times, logistics, and inventory-based sales cycles.
