Talis Group is hiring on behalf of a well-established, locally owned manufacturing company in Southern Indiana. They are seeking to hire an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to add to their team due to growth.  This position will be a vital link between customers, production, and sales, helping orders run smoothly from start to finish. This is a full-time, direct hire, with a salary range of $50-$60k, plus bonus potential, full benefits, and 401k.  (Also includes education reimbursement!)  Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, onsite. Highlighted Duties: Support outside and inside sales reps with the day-today operational tasks. Answer incoming calls & emails from customers (mostly repeat business.) Enter orders, check inventory levels, quote pricing, and track shipments. Resolve customer questions or delivery issues promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate data in the system to ensure orders run smoothly. Collaborate with production & shipping teams to ensure orders are on track. Learn the company’s products & services to better assists customers. Highlighted Requirements: Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics preferred. Previous experience win customer service, inside sales or order entry roles. Strong communication and follow-up skills. Detail-oriented with great time management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or ERP software experience is a plus. Proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience tracking shipments or working with inventory is required.
