About the Role:
The Inside Sales position within the Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing, and Hunting industry is focused on driving revenue growth by effectively managing customer relationships and sales processes from within the office environment. This role requires a deep understanding of agricultural products and services to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably within the agriculture or related industries.
Strong knowledge of agricultural products, services, and industry terminology.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or a related discipline.
Experience working with agricultural equipment, crop inputs, or forestry products.
Familiarity with sales analytics and reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a B2B environment.
Multilingual abilities, especially in languages relevant to the regional agricultural market.
Responsibilities:
Engage with prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to understand their agricultural needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and post-sale follow-up.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM software.
Collaborate with field sales representatives, product specialists, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and new offerings.
Skills:
The required skills such as strong communication and CRM proficiency are essential for managing customer relationships and tracking sales progress effectively on a daily basis. Knowledge of agricultural products enables the sales professional to provide accurate and relevant recommendations, enhancing customer trust and satisfaction.
