Job Summary
The Customer Advocate (Inside Sales) will report to Director, Lifecycle Services and be responsible for generating leads, building client relationships, and closing sales for custom automation systems-related parts, service, machine upgrades etc. This role involves working closely with the sales and engineering teams to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent organization, communication skills, and a passion for technology-driven sales.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify client needs through research, customer outreach, and inbound lead follow-ups.
Engage with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings to understand their automation needs and present solutions.
Collaborate with the sales and engineering team to develop customized proposals and quotes for clients.
Manage the lifecycle services sales pipeline, track activities, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in automation technology.
Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term client relationships.
Required Qualifications
Experience in Inside Sales or B2B Customer Satisfaction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications
2+ years of experience in B2B inside sales, preferably in automation, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
Knowledge of automation systems, robotics, or industrial manufacturing is a plus.
Hubspot-specific CRM experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in Solidworks, reading Bills of Material and cross-referencing part numbers.
