Summary/objective
We are seeking a driven and motivated sales professional looking for an exciting opportunity to grow with a well-established flooring company. This position offers the potential to earn a competitive hourly wage along with performance-based commission. The Inside Salesperson is responsible for consistently delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and building long-term customer relationships. In addition, this role provides support to warehouse operations as needed, including assisting with order preparation, inventory coordination, and ensuring smooth product flow to enhance the customer experience.
Essential functions

Providing excellent customer service while greeting guests and introducing the showroom.
Answer phones in a professional manner while taking messages, and/or supplying customers with information such as Order ETA’s, and product availability through inventory checks.
Check samples out, and/or schedule measures using the correct methods and procedures for optimal outcomes and tracking purposes.
Loading customers’ flooring purchases either by forklift or by hand, as needed.
Offload and receive product into the inventory system, then call/email customers in a timely manner upon its arrival.
Complete pick up and receive paperwork accurately, and tag products and pallets accordingly.
Receive deliveries from vendors and MDC or CDC.
Maintain a clean and organized sales area, showroom, warehouse, and property, including but not limited to floors, dusting, sample inventories, restrooms, placing price tags as needed, cleaning the warehouse, and property.

Work environment: Retail store environment as well as warehouse (heat and cold)

Required education and experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Customer Service experience
Sales experience
Computer literate
Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic math and organization skills
Detail-oriented mindset, data entry, and computer skills
Ability to work on feet for long hours
Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
Experience shipping, receiving, or selling related products
Preferred education and experience
Knowledge of Rollmaster
Bilingual in Spanish
