We're entering an exciting growth phase—aiming to 10x in the next 3 years—and we need an exceptional marketing leader to help fuel our expansion.
We're not looking for someone to execute tasks; we're looking for a strategic marketing director who can own lead generation from message clarity to measurable results.
The Role
As our Marketing Director, you'll be the architect of our lead generation engine. Your primary mission: deliver a consistent stream of high-quality seller leads to our sales agents while building a scalable marketing system that grows with us.
This is technically B2B marketing—but it's really more like sophisticated DTC. You're persuading individual dentist-owners to take a high-stakes, confidential next step in their career.
You'll Own:
Message clarity and positioning that cuts through the noise and builds trust under confidential circumstances
Strategic oversight of all marketing channels (direct mail, paid search, digital ads, website optimization, events, partnerships, print advertising)
Lead generation strategy with clear attribution and quality optimization
Contractor and vendor management - you'll direct strategy while specialists execute
Collaboration with sales teams to ensure lead quality and follow-up effectiveness
Marketing performance measurement and ROI analysis with clear KPIs
What Makes You Exceptional
Core Requirements:
Proven track record increasing high-quality leads for professional service organizations (healthcare, financial services, brokerage/M&A, law firms, or similar)
Master of message clarity - you can distill complex value propositions into compelling, conversion-focused copy that stays on-brand across all channels
Strategic copywriting ability - you know what converts and can recognize when messaging is on or off target
Lead generation expertise with experience directing (not necessarily executing) funnel optimization, A/B testing, and lead scoring
Contractor management skills - you can hire, brief, and hold accountable execution teams while maintaining message discipline
CRM proficiency (HubSpot experience preferred but not required)
Results-driven collaboration with sales teams to optimize lead quality and conversion

Long-term: Transform our lead generation capabilities, maintain message clarity at scale, and play a crucial role in our 10x growth trajectory

Message discipline is critical - with multiple channels and contractors, staying on-brand and on-message requires constant oversight

~200,000 professionally active dentists in the U.S.; ~70% are practice owners = ~150,000 potential sellers
Thousands exit annually (~4-5k owner retirements); ~7,000 practice transitions industry-wide
We currently manage 60-80 transactions/year with tremendous room for growth
