We are seeking a high-energy, results-oriented Automotive Internet Director to lead our Internet Sales Department and Business Development Center (BDC). This is a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on maximizing online opportunities, driving showroom traffic, and motivating a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities: Lead, train, and motivate the Internet Sales and BDC teams to exceed lead response, appointment, and sales goals.
Develop and execute strategies to increase online sales, lead conversion, and customer retention.
Oversee daily BDC operations, ensuring timely and professional follow-up on all internet leads, calls, and inquiries.
Collaborate with sales management to create effective appointment-to-sale processes.
Monitor KPIs including response times, appointment set rates, show rates, and closing ratios.
Implement best practices for CRM utilization and internet lead management.
Partner with marketing to optimize digital campaigns, lead providers, and online reputation.
Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance reviews for the BDC/Internet team. Requirements: Qualifications: Proven experience in automotive internet sales and/or BDC management.
Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on accountability and results.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Proficiency with dealership CRM systems and internet lead management tools.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze reports and adjust strategies.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
