The Manufacturing Parts Crib Leader oversees the organization, storage, and distribution of parts and materials used in a manufacturing process. This role ensures that the right parts are available when and where they are needed, minimizing downtime and maximizing production efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of parts, including quantities, locations, and usage. This involves regular cycle counts, tracking inventory levels, and identifying potential shortages or overstock situations. Distribution & Issuance: Ensuring parts are issued to the correct personnel and tracked appropriately. This may involve using a computerized system or manual tracking methods. Storage & Organization: Maintaining a clean, organized, and secure storage area for parts and materials. This includes proper labeling, shelving, and material handling. Communication: Effectively communicating with production teams, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders regarding parts availability and related issues. Essential Skills & Qualifications: Strong Organizational Skills: ability to effectively organize and manage a large inventory of parts and tools is crucial. Attention to Detail: Maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking, ordering, and optimizing stock levels. Technical Skills: Familiarity with the specific tools and equipment used in the manufacturing industry, as well as basic knowledge of their maintenance and repair. Computer Literacy: proficiency in using inventory management software.
