Position Summary Responsible for managing restaurant operations, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC), and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities include providing excellent internal and external service, building restaurant sales and profit, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Duties/Responsibilities Internal Service: Recruits, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees. Monitors staffing levels, ensures systems for training employees are implemented, develops internal candidates for management, and fosters a positive, safe, and respectful environment. External Service: Ensures guests receive an exceptional experience by training employees, maintaining food safety and quality standards, and responding to guest concerns professionally. Maintains a positive brand image through consistent food quality, service, and cleanliness. Higher Profits: Partners with the Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance, develops and executes plans to increase sales and profitability, and monitors costs and budget adherence. Training/Coaching/Development: Motivates and develops employees, provides feedback, and recognizes performance. Business Management: Supports change, makes quality decisions, and maintains organization and attention to detail. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 1+ years as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager internally; 3+ years as an Assistant Manager externally with P&L responsibility. Knowledge/Skills: Must be 18+, ServSafe certified, fluent in English, with strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills. Valid drivers license and ability to travel required. Physical Requirements Stand and walk most of the shift, lift 10-65 lbs, operate equipment, and use a computer. Additional Information This is a full-time, mid-senior level management position based in Denver, CO, with a salary range of $68,000-$70,000.
