We are seeking a talented and creative Lighting Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape lighting and a passion for enhancing outdoor spaces through innovative lighting solutions. This role requires a blend of technical skills, artistic vision, and practical experience in landscaping and maintenance. Duties Design and implement lighting plans for various outdoor spaces, including residential gardens, commercial properties, and public parks. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for lighting projects. Utilize mechanical knowledge to select appropriate lighting fixtures and equipment that meet project specifications. Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions and determine the best lighting solutions. Oversee the installation of lighting systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Perform regular maintenance on installed lighting systems, including troubleshooting and repairs as needed. Coordinate with other landscaping activities such as tree care, lawn care, and hardscape installations to ensure cohesive project execution. Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other equipment necessary for installation and maintenance tasks. Experience Proven experience in landscape design or horticulture with a focus on lighting preferred. Familiarity with irrigation systems, gardening techniques, snow plowing, mowing, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction practices in outdoor environments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve project goals.
