DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Marketing will be a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand recognition, customer engagement, and business growth which will ultimately lead to revenue generation for a large portfolio of award-winning restaurants. The Marketing Director will be solely responsible for regularly connecting with the operational and culinary leadership of every restaurant unit including the development of marketing plans, marketing budgets, marketing calendars and then executing upon them. This role requires a seasoned marketer with a deep understanding of the global hospitality industry and who can collaborate with each location across the globe. The Director of Marketing will remotely manage a marketing team located in South America, oversee all marketing initiatives across multiple continents, develop professional relationships with hotel/resort partners, and work closely with the operational, culinary, and beverage teams at each of the companys restaurants to create a strategic, revenue-generating marketing plan per market/restaurant.
Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
This role can be remote, but if you prefer to work in the Las Vegas corporate office, relocation assistance if offered.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations & Communications:
Develop and manage a public relations plan per local market, working with external agencies and local restaurant teams that will ultimately secure media visits, media coverage and positive press
Review and approve all press releases and other communications to maintain a consistent brand voice
Act as a spokesperson for the company (when and if needed), representing the brands at industry events, media functions and in media interviews
Create and maintain strong relationships with food critics, journalists, social media influencers, and key opinion leaders in the hospitality and culinary sectors
Conduct and lead all agency reoccurring meetings between agency, marketing teams, and local restaurant teams
Social Media Management:
Develop and manage a social media plan per local market, working with external agencies and local restaurant teams that will drive engagement and social following, while maintaining a consistent brand presence across all social channels
Review and approve monthly social media content calendars for each restaurants social pages including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (where applicable) and LinkedIn (for corporate account)
Work with agencies to develop social media influencer visitation program
Conduct and lead all agency reoccurring meetings between agency, marketing teams, and local restaurant teams
Graphic Design / Creative Campaigns:
Provide creative direction that follows established brand guidelines per brand
Act as final approver of all creative projects managed by Marketing Manager
Digital Marketing:
Direct all digital marketing efforts, including Web, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and 3rd party Websites such as OpenTable, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Google, Apple Maps, etc.
Analyze digital performance metrics for both paid and organic placement to optimize campaigns and increase online engagement that ultimately lead to reservations
Manage the company's online reputation and direct restaurant team to actively engage with customer feedback across all platforms
Review and approval email marketing newsletters managed by Marketing Manager
Work directly with digital consultant on building paid digital ad placement including; Google Search Ads, Meta social media ads on Facebook & Instagram, Boosting of individual Instagram posts
Have a general understanding with various digital marketing tools such as; Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, WordPress, Asana, Dropbox, MailChimp (email marketing), Toast (restaurant revenue tool with marketing functions), GoDaddy, LinkTree, SinglePlatform, and other restaurant reservation platforms such as Resy and Cover Manager
For new venues, purchase new domains and vanity domains, and secure social media handles following existing naming structure for both segments
Photo Shoot / Video Shoot / Content Creation Management:
In development with the local restaurant team, contract local photographer/videographer and organize photo/video shoot logistics (and social media content creation shoots)
Review image selections, provide editing requests to photographer, provide final image approvals
Distribute approved content to all parties in need of assets such as wider marketing teams, PR and social media agencies, etc.
Brand Management:
Oversee all aspects of brand management, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, brand imagery, and voice across all global markets (Europe, North America, Middle East)
Protect and promote the legacy and vision of the brand by turning companys culinary philosophy into compelling marketing narratives and storytelling opportunities
Lead the development and launch of new brand initiatives, chef and menu activations, and other restaurant promotions
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a Director of Marketing or similar senior role in the hospitality, food & beverage, or luxury goods industry
Demonstrated experience in brand management for a multi-brand, international company
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, with a track record of measurable results of successful digital campaigns
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish
Ability to travel domestically and internationally and/or to each restaurant location as needed
