The Lead Financial Advisor and Branch Manager is a sales-driven leader responsible for accelerating revenue growth, expanding the firm’s client base, and leading a high-performing advisory team. Responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advisory services to clients while overseeing the daily operations, growth, and compliance of the assigned branch location. This dual role combines hands-on sales leadership with team development and branch management, ensuring the firm meets aggressive growth targets. Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Business Growth
Set and enforce aggressive sales targets for the team, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and conversion.
Personally lead high-value client acquisition, while focusing on client retention and service.
Train, coach, and mentor advisors on consultative selling, objection handling, and closing strategies.
Implement structured sales processes, including CRM tracking, lead follow-up protocols, and conversion metrics.
Analyze sales performance data to identify gaps, adjust strategies, and maximize revenue opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development
Develop financial advisor team, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Conduct weekly accountability meetings with pipeline reviews and skill-building exercises.
Lead by example, maintaining an active personal book of business while guiding the team.
Client & Revenue Management
Oversee the branch’s highest-priority client relationships, ensuring retention and expansion of client assets.
Close complex deals and assist advisors in overcoming obstacles in the sales process.
Ensure smooth handoffs from sales to service teams, maintaining client satisfaction.
Office Leadership & Strategy
Set the vision and growth plan for the office, aligning with firm-wide objectives.
Monitor compliance, operational efficiency, and service standards.
Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns (digital, events, referrals, etc.).
Qualifications:
10+ years in financial advisory with a documented sales track record (top producer background preferred).
5+ years in sales leadership (managing, coaching, and driving a team’s performance).
Expert-level sales skills—prospecting, negotiating, and closing high-value clients.
Strong analytical mindset—uses data to refine sales strategies and improve conversion.
Series 65, Life/Health Insurance License
Industry credentials (CFP®, CFA, CPA) strongly preferred.
Leadership presence—able to inspire, challenge, and lead by example.
Compensation & Benefits:
Highly competitive salary, with uncapped commissions, and bonus opportunities.
Total On Target Earnings +$300,000.
