Job Description : Overview The Lead Rental Sales Specialist is a key player in driving vehicle rental sales for our existing lease and commercial rental accounts, along with engaging potential customers for their household needs. This role focuses on high-volume rental locations and necessitates collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Asset Management, all while delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Sales & Marketing: Manage the sales process for both inbound inquiries and proactive outreach. Execute the marketing plan to boost our business unit's performance. Maintain precise data in the marketing database and seize opportunities to maximize rental rates. Generate leads for rental, lease, and used vehicle sales while fostering growth in existing customer relationships and meeting market share objectives. Operations & Asset Management: Oversee the efficiency and profitability of the rental location, ensuring seamless coordination with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to enhance customer satisfaction and compliance with all regulatory standards. Customer Relations: Propel revenue growth through the nurturing of customer relationships and ensure a high level of satisfaction for all customers. Effectively address and resolve any concerns or issues that arise to support continuous engagement. Communication: Cultivate strong relationships with both customers and internal teams. Maintain professionalism, especially in challenging situations, and communicate Ryder's offerings clearly. Additional Duties Open and close the rental office, conduct daily checks, manage paperwork, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner. Schedule vehicle services effectively with Maintenance. Lead and mentor junior staff and, as needed, take on the role of On-Call Representative according to scheduling needs. Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Proven goal-oriented approach with a strong drive for results and adaptability in dynamic environments. Self-motivated with high energy levels, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels. Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence. Requirements High School diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in Sales. Compensation and Benefits : This position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $22.00 to $27.00, along with comprehensive health and welfare benefits for full-time roles, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability options, and paid time off for various needs.
