Lead Warehouse Associate-
Full Time
Buffalo, NY
DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for a full time General Warehouse associate with a “whatever it takes” attitude. The main responsibilities of this position are to pick/pack orders and deliver to our customers in an accurate and efficient manner with safety being a priority.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Focus on safety at all times – safety training and direction must be adhered to at all times, reporting any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
- Assisting locations supervisor with inventory duties, including, cycle counts, review order issues, and investigations.
- Including picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away.
- Supervise put away, and ship confirm process.
- Assist in implementing vendor error processes.
- Teach and train all employees on company processes and procedures.
- Responsible for handling issues that may arise in shipping, receiving, inventory, and in vending.
- Supervise the ship confirm process.
- Report daily metrics to the metrics boards.
- Ensuring all orders on the must shipboard have been addressed by the end of the day.
- Assist customers in the store with pick-ups, order entry and answering phones.
- Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
- Enter vending orders needed for inventory to complete machine set up.
- Complete machine set up as needed for customers.
- Perform the end of day order close out.
- Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
- Reporting directly to the location Supervisor and other management team members
- Preforming on site replenishment of inventory in vending machines at local customers.
- Perform additional warehouse duties that may arise and assigned by management.
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to pass a NON-D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
- High school diploma / GED equivalent.
