The Leisure Sales Manager for Grand Hyatt Baha Mar supports the sales efforts of the hotel by performing administrative duties relating to sales. Assist the Associate Director of SalesandDirectorofSales& Marketinginmaintainingexistingbusinessclientelerelationships,ensuring maximumoperational efficiency for the department,profitabilityforthe hotel and quality servicefor the guests.
Responsibilities:
· Abilitytoworkunderpressureandinafast-pacedenvironment.
· Actively identify new business opportunities, cultivate leads, maintain and grow relationships via individual account sales plans.
· Demonstrateexpertknowledgeandcustomercontactsinthepreferredcorporateand/orluxury leisure markets.
· Meetorexceedtheannualsalesrevenuegoals,includingsalesactivityproductionguidelines.
· Developexpertknowledgeofthehotel'sproduct positioninginmarketplace,seasonality,pricing strategies and master the competitive advantages to the hotel's primary/aspirational competitive sets.
· Adheretothehotel'ssalesguidelineandroomrevenuebudgettobookprofitablebusiness corresponding to the hotel's revenue strategy and during designated need periods.
· Demonstrateexpertsalesknowledgeinprospecting,telemarketing,negotiating,closingsales techniques during outside sales calls, site inspections, tradeshow and events.
· Provideleadershiptohelpdriveproductivityandperformanceofthesalesteam.
· Complywithcompanysalesreportingstandardsandallother company sales, reservation, and distribution systems.
· Preparepre-tripandpost-tripreportingofanytravelandtradeshowrelatedactivities.
· Participateinweeklysales,revenueandstrategymeetings.
· Conductsuperiornegotiatingskillsinaprofessional,business-likemannertomaximize profitability of hotel's performance.
· Develop,implementandexecutesalesstrategiesinaquarterlyactionplanstoimpactexisting key accounts, target accounts and the development of new business opportunities within assignedmarket segments.
· Identifyandqualifythemarketformajorroomnightdemandgenerators,developeffectivestrategiestargeting sales and marketing efforts consistentwiththehotel'ssalesandmarketing plan. Develop expert knowledge of new business opportunities in backyard area to maintain a competitive edge.
· Actasasource fortheDirectorofSales&Marketing and Associate Director of Salesinsuggestingstrategiesandtacticsfor respective markets in the annual business plan.
· Developprofessionalsellingskillsthroughparticipationinprescribedtrainingprogramsasdirected.
· Ability to travel within assigned territory at least 50% of the time.

Qualifications:
· Minimum3yearspreviousLeisureSalesManagerexperience,preferablyResorts.
· Collegedegree.
· Abilitytodemonstrateexpertknowledgeandcustomercontactsinthepreferredluxury leisure and consortia markets.
· AbilitytosatisfactorilycommunicateinEnglish(speak,read,write)withguests,co-workersand management to their understanding.
· Abilitytoperformassigneddutieswithattentiontodetail,speed,accuracy,follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
· Abilitytoaccuratelycomputeandmanipulatemathematicalcalculations.
· Knowledgeoftravelindustry,currentmarkettrendsandeconomicfactors.
· Strongskillindevelopmentanddeliveryofsalespresentations.
· Abilitytodealwithinternalandexternalcustomersandstaff,collectaccurateinformationand to resolve conflicts.
· Punctuality,regularandreliableattendance.
· AbilitytoworkflexibleschedulestoincludeAM,PM,Weekends&Holidays.
· ComputerknowledgeinWindowsenvironmentandpreviousexperiencewithautomated property management system, especially OPERA.
· Interpersonalskillsandtheabilitytoworkwellwithco-workersandthepublic.
Essential Physical Abilities:
· Endurevariousphysicalmovementsthroughouttheworkareas,suchasreaching,bending and stooping.
· Repetitivehandmotion(typing)forextendedperiodsoftime.
