Licensed Insurance Sales Representative — Flexible Schedule

Slingo Insurance seeks a motivated, licensed insurance sales professional to join our remote sales team in a flexible-schedule role. This position focuses on assessing client needs, recommending appropriate life and health coverage, and supporting clients through the application and underwriting process. The role is ideal for self-directed sales professionals who value autonomy, clear performance goals, and opportunities for advancement within a small, collaborative company.
Engage prospective clients to evaluate individual and family insurance needs and recommend tailored solutions for life and health coverage.
Schedule and conduct client consultations via phone or virtual meeting platforms; manage follow-up and ongoing client communication.
Guide clients through application completion and submission; monitor underwriting progress and coordinate with internal operations as needed.
Review existing client policies and recommend adjustments or additional coverage when appropriate.
Maintain accurate, confidential client records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Stay current on product offerings, industry changes, and compliance requirements relevant to the role.
Meet established performance targets and contribute to team objectives while working independently within a remote environment.
Required qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Active life and health insurance license.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a client-focused professional approach.
Preferred qualifications and attributes
Prior sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while contributing to a small team.
Self-motivated, organized, goal-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
Ability to build and maintain trusting client relationships.
