TMC is seeking a proven logistics sales professional with a strong background in customer-facing transportation or 3PL sales. This position is designed for individuals who have excelled in freight sales and are ready to broaden their influence by guiding and developing future sales leaders. As a Logistics Sales Training Specialist, you will apply your industry expertise and proven sales track record to design, deliver, and continuously enhance training programs that directly impact revenue growth and organizational success. This highly visible role partners closely with senior leadership, providing you with the opportunity to coach with influence, elevate sales performance, and play a key part in driving TMC’s long-term sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, deliver, and continuously improve sales training programs focused on freight brokerage, transportation, and 3PL strategy.
Coach for impact by mentoring customer-facing sales executives on prospecting, relationship building, negotiation, closing strategies, wallet share expansion, and long-term portfolio growth.
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify performance gaps and implement training solutions that directly influence business outcomes.
Facilitate high-level onboarding programs for new hires and provide ongoing professional development for tenured sales executives.
Drive adoption and mastery of sales processes, CRM/TMS platforms, and best practices.
Partner with HR and Recruiting on talent development initiatives and succession planning.
Champion TMC’s culture of integrity, performance, and continuous improvement.
Travel up to 15% to deliver training across TMC locations.
Qualifications
Required: Customer-facing sales experience in transportation/logistics/3PL (minimum 1 year).
Preferred: 2+ years of proven success in freight or logistics sales with measurable results.
Previous training, mentoring, or coaching experience strongly preferred.
Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills; confident in leading both small groups and large, mixed-tenure audiences.
Proficiency with CRM and TMS systems, content creation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
Highly proactive, self-sufficient, and skilled at working independently while fostering collaboration.
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to sit, use a computer, and conduct virtual or in-person training for extended periods.
Clear verbal and written communication in high-volume environments.
Ability to adapt training style to in-person and virtual settings.
