The Logistics Specialist will provide daily support to the Logistics Operation in US; will be responsible for managing daily logistics support for MGF brands; and partner closely with both internal merchandising team and external customers. The Logistics Specialist will work closely with logistics providers in the region to ensure their service levels and capabilities meet or exceed the expectations of MGF, and our customers.
Job Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day exception management and control of orders coordination with factories, merchandisers and logistics service providers, and act as the solution provider on related issues Manage Logistics Service Providers' (LSP) performance to ensure the achievement of service standards and cost efficiency Provide customer service support to internal and external customers as it relates to the routing, tracking, and delivery performance for all merchandise shipments Field inquiries from internal customers and external vendors regarding shipment issues, carrier services and department procedures Partner with Trade Compliance team for issue resolution with any customs related delays Identify freight savings and network optimization opportunities, implement process changes, and measure and report results Identify issues and implement resolutions in a timely fashion Perform ad hoc data collection and basic analysis as needed
Job Specifications Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent experience At least 3 years of experience in logistics operation Previous experience with LSP, carriers or retail industry on regional scope is required Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills Able to collaborate with different stakeholders in developing and executing solutions to resolve customer issues Able to handle issues independently Travel within US is required
