POSITION SUMMARY
Source new customers to find refrigerated LTL business. Follow up on all inbound and outbound leads whether its email, call, or face-to-face. Understanding customer needs and requirements to match them with our transportation and warehousing operations to ensure utilization and profitably.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Identifying prospective customers by using business directories, following leads, etc.
Cold Calling potential clients and creating reoccurring business.
Answering customers' questions about transportation services, prices, availability, and credit terms.
Recommending services to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
Negotiating and preparing sales contracts and payment terms.
Consulting with clients after sales or contract signings to provide ongoing support and resolve problems.
Onboarding of new customers with Billing/Operations/Accounts Receivable.
Monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
Maintain the CRM

Qualifications
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; required
Bachelor’s degree (Logistics, Business Management, or relatable field); preferred
Essential Skills:
Must have LTL sales experience, preferably with a book of business.
Must have knowledge of warehouse and truckload operations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products and Windows.
Ability to learn and use proprietary software.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license
