Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales / Counter Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with customers at our retail counter, providing exceptional service, and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Greet customers at the counter in a friendly and professional manner. Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing, and recommendations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs.
Sales and Product Knowledge: Promote and sell a diverse range of exterior building materials, including but not limited to siding, roofing, windows, and doors. Stay informed about product features, benefits, and industry trends. Upsell and cross-sell products to meet customer requirements and increase sales.
Order Processing: Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using our internal systems. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Provide order status updates and shipment information to customers.
Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or product quality.
Quotations and Pricing: Prepare price quotations for customers based on their requirements. Work closely with the sales team to provide competitive pricing and maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong product knowledge and the ability to learn about new products quickly. Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in using computer systems and software for order processing.
