: Essential Responsibilities: Lead functional projects and programs that drive business or process improvements. Identify issues and recommend best practices based on specialized expertise. Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business trends and implement solutions. Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives within the sales function. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales processes and make recommendations for enhancements. Preferred Qualification: Primary Responsibilities: Lead and grow a high-performing Canadian-focused outbound sales team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-centricity. Lead with optimism and strategic thinking to navigate the fast-evolving fintech industry. Serve as the internal voice of the Canadian SMB market, providing insights and recommendations to influence product development, operational improvements, and sales strategy across the PayPal organization. Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to achieve and exceed Canadian market sales targets and key business objectives. Actively collaborate with cross-functional partners—including product, marketing, compliance, and operations—to optimize processes, tailor solutions, and remove friction for Canadian sellers. Empower team members through coaching, skill development, and mentorship to foster a growth mindset and consistently deliver strong results. Ensure the team consistently follows best-in-class sales practices and maintains high standards of operational excellence. Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and pipeline assessments to reinforce strategic alignment and strengthen team capabilities. Requirements: 3–5 years of experience in inside sales management, ideally within growth-focused businesses with globally dispersed teams. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding individual and team sales targets, with a strong understanding of solution selling methodologies. Proven ability to serve as a cross-functional advocate, with strong influencing skills and a collaborative approach to aligning product and sales goals. An understanding of the Canadian small business ecosystem, including regulatory environment, regional differences, and customer pain points. A business-owner mentality, with a passion for continuous improvement and team development. Strong critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to identify and present opportunities for team-wide improvements. Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
