Who You’ll Work With
Our recently established Customer Outcome Team is a highly accountable, go-to-market group of experts that are responsible for driving multi-capability solutioning, harmonizing investments, and working with markets across the Americas to serve their client portfolios.
The AI Outcome Lead will play a critical role in enabling our customers to “become data and AI-driven enterprises”. This position is a Managing Director level role and will report directly to our Customer Outcomes Lead. Position is eligible to be located in any location where there is a Slalom office.
Requires hands-on knowledge of the modern AI landscape, including enterprise-level AI Transformation, AI Agents & Copilots, AI/ML Ops, Data for AI, Responsible AI & Governance, and AI Strategy & Value Realization. We’re looking for proven leaders who can translate emerging AI capabilities into enterprise impact.
What You’ll Do
The AI Customer Outcome Lead is accountable for developing a portfolio of prioritized accelerators, products, or solutions tailored to drive outcomes for our customers. This strategic role involves setting the direction for these solutions, ensuring they deliver high, scalable value, and supporting Slalom’s competitive position in the market. With a focus on multi-solution integration and innovation, the AI Customer Outcome Lead will drive growth, oversee healthy profitability of the solutions, and coordinate cross-capability resources to meet customer outcome objectives.
Strategy + Vision (10%)
Leads the strategic direction for a diverse portfolio of solutions aligned to customer outcomes, focusing on long-term scalability, measurable customer value, and fostering innovation.
Manages the development of solution frameworks that respond to evolving market needs, emerging technologies, and growth areas such as AI and M&A.
Oversee prioritizations and resource allocation across solutions within the portfolio to achieve maximum impact.
Go to Market Approach (30%)
Directs GTM strategy for the outcome portfolio, working closely with marketing and sales to ensure cohesive, outcome-oriented market positioning.
Collaborates with leadership to maintain alignment between solutions and Slalom’s brand objectives, ensuring high visibility and relevance.
Act as a thought leader across solutions, enhancing Slalom’s brand awareness and reputation through outcome-driven innovations.
Support the establishment of Slalom’s brand through unique outcome solutions that differentiate from competitors.
Sales + Business Development (30%)
Partners with sales team to identify high-impact opportunities to ensure alignment of solutions to drive sales growth.
Enables the sales process by crafting customer-centric pitches that leverage multiple solutions to address complex customer needs.
Delivery Management (10%)
Oversees cross-capability teams for delivery, ensuring each solution achieves expected customer impact with efficiency.
Collaborates with leadership to maintain alignment between solutions and Slalom’s brand objectives, ensuring high visibility and relevance.
Coordinate resources and influences to foster collaboration between capabilities to optimize the portfolio’s effectiveness and minimize delivery friction.
Talent Development (10%)
Builds lean talent pipelines for development of solutions within the portfolio, focusing on skills alignment to solution needs and innovation while maintaining a strong ROI.
Partners with Learning & Development to develop learning paths to cultivate solution-specific expertise and sponsor learning opportunities to foster growth.
Financial & Performance Metrics (10%)
Manage the financial performance health of the portfolio, optimizing investment allocations to meet target outcomes, budget, and ROI.
What You’ll Bring
Delivery Exceptionally - Proven track record in driving growth through delivery of innovative and relevant solution offerings and cross-capability team leadership.
Grow Slalom (Business Acumen) - Strong financial acumen with experience managing solution P&Ls or investment portfolios, sales pipelines, and performance metrics.
Grow Expertise - Deep expertise in developing go-to-market strategies and delivering differentiated solutions in a consulting or professional services environment. Credible expert with inspirational stage speaking and media ready representative. Ability to craft compelling written thought leadership.
Lead - Demonstrated ability to lead through influence. Holds self and business accountable, models high self-awareness and ability to navigate complex relationships.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. This role will require time in a Slalom office, at client site and ability to work remotely, candidates should be comfortable with a hybrid work environment, prioritizing client facing needs as appropriate.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For Managing Director the base salary pay range is $240,000 to $384,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
