The Marketing Associate will provide support to the sales and marketing team to drive growth in a largely B2B environment. The role involves team collaboration on projects, administrative sales support, web content creation and social media management. Develop and utilize marketing standards to support the sales team as needed with document completion, with key retailer ad review to monitor promotional activity and with product presentations for tier 2 & 3 customers for branded programs.
Supports the e-commerce effort on Amazon and assists the sales group in product content creation for our retailer e-commerce sites.
Coordinates trade show logistics for PLMA, Expo West and other key selling shows.
Plans and coordinates National Sales Meetings.
Maintains our 5 corporate branded websites and creates fresh quarterly content.
Drives bi-weekly social media posts for 3 branded websites.
Supports Sustainability Committee in data input, analytics and development of data gathering processes for ongoing, long-term reporting.
Offers additional Nielsen analytical support to sales and marketing group.
Up to % overnight travel to support internal and external stakeholders
Performs other duties as assigned by management. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or equivalent, required
2+ years of experience in a related field
IRI, Nielsen, SPINs experience preferred
Experience in web content creation and social media preferred
Familiarity with Word Press and Google Analytics preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Intermediate proficiency MS Office experience (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PPT)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
