Position Summary: This role is responsible for forecasting, pricing and entering media buys under the NBA Media sales portfolio. The position will work closely across the Global Partnerships team, Product team and a myriad of internal departments across the NBA.
Major Responsibilities: Collaborate with Sales, Account Managers, Inventory, and Marketing teams to generate compelling custom ad programs across our product/site portfolios Pull and forecast avails, recommend ad placements, and content channels based on client campaign objectives Support dedicated books of business, managing the sales process from proposal generation to order entry and revenue reporting Partner with Sales teams to implement packaging and pricing strategies, as defined by Strategic Planning rate cards and guidelines Work closely with the Ad Ops team to execute campaigns and maximize delivery against contracted goals Assist in the preparation and follow-up for client meetings, as directed by Sellers, including reviewing industry and account-specific information Identify areas for improvement within the pre-sale process and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency
Required Education/Professional Experience/Knowledge Attributes: Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 2 years experience with focus on sales strategy across linear and digital platforms. Strong understanding of the media sales environment with a focus on alternative ad models and multi-platform packaging. Proficiency in media planning platforms (e.g., Operative, FreeWheel, GAM) Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools Understanding of audience metrics, media math, and forecasting techniques Excellent communication, organization, and client-facing skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
