The Medical Equipment Sales Representative will focus on selling medical equipment acquired from healthcare facilities to both healthcare facilities and wholesalers in the secondary market. This role involves marketing our existing inventory, sourcing equipment, supporting territory managers with customer equipment needs, valuing equipment for purchase, managing inventory using our custom-built software and AI tools, building and maintaining relations ships with customers, wholesalers, and vendors. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional with strong networking skills and a solid understanding of the medical equipment market.   Key Responsibilities Sell our inventory of medical equipment to healthcare facilities, wholesalers, and other buyers in the secondary market. Source medical equipment to meet customer needs, working closely with vendors and suppliers. Support territory managers by addressing customer equipment requests and providing tailored solutions. Conduct valuations to determine fair purchase prices for equipment acquired from healthcare facilities for resale. Manage and update a live inventory of equipment stored in our warehouse using our custom-built inventory management software, ensuring accurate tracking of marketed items. Leverage AI tools and computer systems to enhance efficiency in inventory management and sales processes. Attend trade shows and industry events (1-2 weeks of travel annually) to network with vendors, identify new buyers (including wholesalers), and promote our equipment offerings. Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities, wholesalers, and vendors through exceptional networking and communication skills. Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics and territory managers, to ensure seamless equipment acquisition and delivery. Use CRM software to track sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory status. Stay informed about market trends, equipment values, and industry regulations to provide competitive solutions. Qualifications 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in medical equipment, healthcare, or a related industry. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with experience in B2B sales or equipment resale. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in using AI tools and custom inventory management software. Strong analytical skills for valuing medical equipment and determining resale pricing. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and inventory management systems. Exceptional networking and communication skills to build relationships with healthcare facilities, wholesalers, and vendors. Ability to travel 1-2 weeks annually for trade shows and client meetings. Knowledge of medical equipment, healthcare industry trends, and secondary market dynamics is a plus. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
