We're seeking a dynamic, results-driven Membership Sales Manager to support our exclusive membership department and grow our member community.
Pay Range: $68,000-75,000 (annual) + commissions
Position Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic membership sales plans to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets for the hotel's exclusive membership program Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, local businesses, and community leaders to drive membership enrollment Conduct compelling membership presentations and property tours, showcasing the unique benefits and luxury amenities available to members Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and member onboarding Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, events, and referral programs to attract potential members Maintain detailed records of all prospects, members, and sales activities Organize and host exclusive member events, networking opportunities, and seasonal celebrations to enhance member engagement and retention Work collaboratively within the membership department to support overall departmental goals and initiatives Analyze membership trends, pricing strategies, and competitive landscape to optimize sales approach and maximize revenue Prepare comprehensive sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior leadership Establish and nurture partnerships with luxury brands, local businesses, and community organizations to create exclusive member benefits Handle member inquiries, concerns, and special requests with exceptional service standards Conduct regular member satisfaction surveys and implement improvements based on feedback Support special events coordination, setup, and management for member-exclusive functions Maintain compliance with all sales policies, procedures, and luxury service standards Assist with completing daily, weekly, and monthly sales administrative duties including pipeline reports, financial documentation, member correspondence, and marketing materials Qualification Standards
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience in membership-based organizations (private clubs, fitness clubs, country clubs, co-working spaces, or similar membership models) At least 3 years in a sales management role with proven track record of exceeding membership enrollment and revenue targets Strong experience with membership acquisition, retention strategies, and customer lifecycle management Luxury hospitality background is a plus but not required Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Proficiency with CRM systems, membership management software, and sales analytics tools Required Certifications Sales or hospitality certifications preferred Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field Additional sales training or luxury hospitality certifications preferred Physical Demands Required to stand for extended periods during events and presentations (up to 6+ hours) Frequent walking throughout hotel property and external venues for client meetings Ability to lift and carry promotional materials and event supplies up to 25 pounds Fine motor skills for computer work, detailed paperwork, and presentation materials Occasional evening and weekend work for member events and networking functions Professional appearance and demeanor required for client-facing activities Company Overview
