ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Overall management and direction of Merchant Services Sales team for solutions teammates in assigned line of business and coverage, including vision and strategy development, establishment and accomplishment of profitability, growth and revenue goals, and creation and implementation of high-impact business, people and sales initiatives
2. Direct and coach the sales team in consultative selling practices focused on receivables with a specialty in merchant services and portfolio analytics
3. Drive sales utilizing various levers including pipeline discipline & management, client calling efforts, talent management rewards & compensation design and through market connectivity with clients, the Line of Business, Treasury Operations, Integrated Relationship Management partners, and others
4. Develop, recruit and export top talent
5. Represent Wholesale Payments sales organization both internally and externally, including industry presentations and internal meetings/discussions QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
2. 7 years of demonstrated success in Merchant Services Management
3. 10 years experience in team selling with a deal team concept
4. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
5. Ability to present and communicate effectively and confidently
6. Proven experience working across departments, lines of business within large financial organizations
7. Must be able to travel
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Industry certifications relating to Merchant Services
2. Master's Degree in Business
3. Formal sales training or equivalent
4. Excellent time management and organizational skills
5. Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking
6. 5 years of management or supervisory experience
The annual base salary for this position is $115,000 - $185,000. Additional incentive pay is available for this position.
