Sales and Account Person
We are looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
This job is in office 3-4 days per week and visiting customers 1-2 days per week. 30 hour per week average. Position is salary plus commission. Amstat benefits include paid time off, retirement plan after one full calendar year of employement. We do not offer health insurance, but offer a portion of premium.
Responsibilities Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships Responsible for approximately $300,000 annual sales Reach out to customer leads through cold calling Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule Coordinate sales effort with team members Travel to customers and prospects in the IL, WI, IN and MI area Support Amstat team with daily needs including answering phones, helping customers outside of territory, coverage for office, packing and shipping and any other general office/coverage and customer service needs Skills Proven work experience in sales Experience with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and CRMs helpful Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs Relationship management skills and openness to feedback BS/BA degree or equivalent Amstat Industries is a leader in static controls and has an immediate opening for an experienced sales representative. Responsibilities include establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up with potential leads. Candidate must be willing to travel the Chicago land and surrounding areas and be self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Position offers flexible work hours. This is a base pay plus commission position.
