Our Community Home Lending Division is seeking a Sales Assistant to support our mission of making homeownership more accessible—especially for first-time buyers and underserved communities. About the Role
This position is ideal for a licensed Loan Officer with 1–2 years of experience who: Knows Down Payment Assistance (DPA) programs and FHA guidelines inside and out Excels in preparing clean, complete loan packages ready for underwriting Loves the operational and client service side of the business more than chasing new leads Has strong administrative skills and can handle inbound calls for multiple Loan Officers Brings warmth, professionalism, and a welcoming personality to every client interaction Key Responsibilities Prepare complete, accurate loan files for underwriting with minimal conditions Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries and warm leads Clearly explain loan programs, timelines, and next steps to clients Support Loan Officers with documentation, disclosures, and file updates Track and follow up on client files to ensure smooth progress toward closing Maintain excellent communication with clients, agents, and internal team members What We're Looking For Licensed Loan Officer (Required) 1–2 years' experience in mortgage lending or processing Strong working knowledge of DPA programs and FHA guidelines Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Warm, professional phone presence and strong customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
