Summary Description: A Mortgage Group Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Mortgage Originators, leading them in mortgage sales strategies, and achieving sales goals, while meeting or exceeding personal mortgage loan production goals and sales objectives. They also develop sales plans, maintain customer relationships, and analyze market trends. Lead, Manage, and Motivate: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Mortgage Originators, including managing a team of loan officers, training them on sales strategies and product knowledge, and setting sales goals.
Generate New Business: Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients, build referral networks, and increase the company's mortgage loan volume.
Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with the bank's commercial and retail groups, clients, realtors, builders, and other referral partners.
Analyze and Adapt: Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities, adjust sales strategies, and ensure the team is meeting sales targets.
Position Requirements: Experience in managing and developing a team. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (Realtors and individuals) becomes necessary.
