Position Summary: The New Business Development professional will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing national accounts in the temperature-controlled LTL and Truckload market. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and is passionate about building long-term client relationships and understanding of the reefer based ltl network.

Key Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert for temperature-sensitive LTL freight services nationwide

Identify and secure new business through prospecting, cold calls, warm leads, and referrals

Manage the full sales cycle, including quoting, negotiating, and onboarding customers

Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of services

Stay informed on cold chain industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities

Travel 10-15% for face-to-face client meetings and industry networking events

Qualifications: 5 years Minimum freight industry experience 3 of which years of sales experience in 3PL or asset-based logistics (temperature-controlled/cold chain experience needed)

Proven success building managing, maintaining and growing a portfolio of 3M+ in annual revenue

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency preferred)

Book of Business to plug and play success along with having no non compete, is a very parge plus

High School diploma required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
