This is a senior-level, hybrid-based role designed for a strategic and proactive individual with a proven track record of success in the national haircare industry, specifically color lines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working for a major haircare brand or as a broker, with established relationships with key distributors and salon chains nationwide.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a national sales strategy to prospect, qualify, and secure new distributor and salon accounts in line with brand growth targets Act as the primary point of contact for national distributor accounts, managing relationships to ensure long-term, sustainable partnerships Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline by identifying, seeking out, and securing new business leads and opportunities nationwide Travel as needed to key markets, client meetings, and major industry trade shows to represent the brand and build business Identify and analyze new geographical areas and market trends for business growth, continuously monitoring the competitive landscape Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributor partners, as well as key salon owners and teams to ensure successful implementation of brand programs Collaborate closely with the marketing team to leverage a full suite of sales materials, promotional assets, and product launch plans
Qualifications: 10+ years of proven sales experience in the professional haircare industry, specifically at a national level in color lines Extensive experience working for a national haircare brand or as a broker specializing in haircare distribution An established and extensive network of relationships with haircare distributors and major salon groups across the country Deep understanding of the national distribution landscape and salon industry dynamics Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A strategic, self-motivated, and results-oriented professional capable of working independently to meet and exceed national sales targets Willingness and ability to travel extensively
