Who Youll Work With Joining Arista as a Sales Engineering team member means becoming part of a group of industry experts and technical leaders. Reporting to the Regional Engineering Manager, you'll work alongside skilled field engineers, understanding technology and its business impact, aligning solutions with client goals. Collaborating with Product Management and Software Development, you'll influence product development and strategic direction, supported by our world-class TAC, proof-of-concept resources, and executive team. What You'll Do We need a creative, collaborative, self-motivated Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer to support our enterprise customers in Minneapolis. You will act as a trusted advisor, gathering requirements and identifying opportunities with existing and new customers. Collaborate with Account Managers to understand client needs and conduct network architectural reviews. Present Aristas networking solutions, including Data Center, Campus, CloudVision, Security, and Monitoring tools. Own the technical relationship with customers and channel partners. Maintain deep knowledge of Arista technologies to support partners and customers. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews. Support onsite customer requirements. Facilitate technical training and demos. Architect and propose network solutions using leaf-spine architectures and overlays like VxLAN, EVPN. Test and validate proof-of-concept setups and network designs. Develop design guidelines and recommend network improvements. Respond to RFPs/RFQs in partnership with Sales. Provide feedback to Product teams and author feature requests. Represent Arista at industry events and conferences. Create technical marketing materials and white papers. Travel approximately 15-30% for customer engagement and industry events. Qualifications Bachelors in CS/IT/Engineering; MBA/MS a plus. Network certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE). 5+ years in L2/L3 networking, Data Center, Campus, WIFI. Strong presentation and sales skills. Experience building relationships with clients and technical teams. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Experience creating technical materials. Recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design. Proven work as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar. Expertise in Ethernet, Routing, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS. Proficiency with CLI and network automation (Python, Ansible preferred). Strong writing skills for white papers and technical documents. Local/regional candidates only. Additional Information The salary range is $117,000 to $175,000, based on location and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more.
