Job Description

Are you tired of working for a company that oversells and under-delivers? Do you find it frustrating when your compensation plan changes to meet “significant business needs”? Are you done with red tape and bureaucracy getting in the way of helping clients? Do you know you can sell and dream of a company that truly makes a difference in its clients' lives?

Look no further—we are a client-focused family law firm, and we’re looking for you.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive starting compensation of $80,000 per year with a bonus framework that could be worth $40,000 a year for a total compensation of up to $120,000
  • Company-provided health insurance
  • Employer-matched retirement account
  • Training and Development opportunities
  • Subscription to RightNow Media @ Work
  • Emphasis on high ethical standards and professionalism within a collaborative setting focused on achieving positive client outcomes

Who We Are: We are a family law firm that strives to provide clients with comprehensive legal solutions during their most difficult times. We believe in creating a Win for three parties: the Client, the Crew (You + the Team), and the Company. We always deliver on our promises, never lie, cheat, or steal, and abide by the Golden Rule: "Treat others as we wish to be treated." When we do mess up—and yes, it does happen—we admit our mistake, clean it up, and move on.

How to Apply:

If you’d like to be considered for this position, please be sure to follow these rules precisely:

  • Submit your application
  • Send an email with the subject line: "Salesperson Champion” followed by your name. This can be sent to: "coo@breedenlaw.com"

In your email, include:

  • Why you're the best person for this position
  • What you like best about our company

Call this phone number: (919) 341-5878 and leave a message telling us:

  • Why you’re the best person for the role
  • Why sales is your chosen profession
Compensation:

$80,000 - $120,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients to understand their legal needs and assess if the firm can assist them.
  • Present the firm’s services, explain the benefits of working with our attorneys, and outline the next steps in the legal process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a positive experience throughout the consultation and onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure a seamless transition from consultation to representation.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by converting consultations into retained clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of consultations and follow-ups in the firm’s CRM system.
  • Stay informed about developments in family law to effectively communicate the firm’s expertise to clients.
Qualifications:

What You Bring:

  • You are heroic, dynamic, and empathetic. By heroic, we mean you use sales as a tool to help people create the lives they desire. By dynamic, we mean you are a high-energy professional who uses your talent and drive to serve clients—you know what's at stake, and this isn’t just a job to you. By empathetic, we mean clients say you truly care about their situation, respond to their concerns, and help them achieve their goals.
  • Proven sales experience, ideally in a legal or professional services setting. We value results, so if you have a history of getting things done, we want to hear about it.

To be blunt, we're not interested in your degree. We'd prefer if you had experience with direct sales and collecting payments.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You understand the art of building relationships, and you follow up until the prospect buys, dies, or unsubscribes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You can navigate a fast-paced, tech-heavy environment with ease.
  • A team player mentality. You need to believe in our mission and our company, and be willing to have an attitude of service and humility to make it here.
  • Thick skin and a resilient attitude. Salespeople experience rejection—what matters is how you handle it. We expect you to take coaching as intended: to help you master your career.
  • Experience team-based activities is a plus; whether it is a team sport or a Dungeons and Dragons league, it shows you know what it’s like to be on a team, follow rules, and be open to coaching.

If you’re ready to work with a firm that believes in doing things right, having full accountability, and backs it up with actions that actually get results, we’d love to hear from you.
