ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you ready to take on the role of Sales Manager for North America? You will dive into market analysis, discover new customers, and network at industry events. LOCATION
Home office, Detroit Metro, Michigan
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Function as the point person for commercial topics in North America. Develop and execute Strategic Plans. Define market plans to meet corporate objectives. Ensure orders taken based on annual budgets and business plans. Facilitate meetings and track program progress. Work with Project Managers to validate bids and present them to customers. Negotiate prices based on change requests and cost drivers. Analyze, negotiate, and close contracts and claims. Monitor and ensure customer satisfaction. Identify and develop new customers and markets. Analyze market needs and competition and synthesize information. Participate in Management reviews. Attend and exhibit at trade shows QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 4-year degree in engineering, or related field. Additional education in business a plus 8+ years of Sales or Project Management experience Prior experience working at a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier Prior experience working for an overseas-based company Knowledge in embedded software, sensors, TPMS, or wireless electronics technologies and application in the mobility sector (automotive, commercial vehicle, heavy vehicle) would be preferred. Analytical skills and ability to prepare business growth strategy plans and execution plans. Demonstrates extensive experience communicating with customer's executive teams Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional global environment. Self-driven and goal oriented, focused on making a significant impact in a high growth environment. Energetic, collaborative and autonomous High Degree of professionalism and ownership of their work Excellent oral and written communication - fluent in English (other languages a plus). Frequent domestic and international travel required
