Overview The Imaging & Resection Product Sales Manager is responsible for meeting predetermined sales targets within their designated territory, focusing on capital products. This role involves working with the sales force to drive product strategy, maintaining in-depth knowledge of the leading product portfolio, and providing consultation to surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our equipment. The position reports to the VP of Sales and collaborates with the Arthrex Regional Imaging & Resection/Capital manager to execute current and future market strategies based on the competitive environment and customer requirements. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Lead the team in meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the agency. Increase agency results by building and maintaining strong business relationships and by developing and implementing sales strategies. Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs. Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and meet/exceed agency objectives. Create and submit team quotas to executive sales leadership (VP of Sales and agency owner). Regularly conduct ride-alongs and field visits to coach the team and ensure consistent execution. Establish and nurture relationships with residency and fellowship programs to drive product adoption, use, and brand awareness. Devise and implement plans and meetings to keep all levels of the team on target with quota achievement. Identify new prospects’ needs and develop appropriate written, telephone, and face-to-face responses. Partner with Medical Education team on course design, lab setup, and ongoing education needs. Cross-sell additional products and manage new product introductions as they become available. Receive coaching, training, or mentoring from leadership and transfer knowledge to other managers and sales staff as needed. Lead by example with proper time and sales discipline; analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation. Maintain a strong sense of urgency, multi-task effectively, and manage responsibilities under strict deadlines. Maintain the ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis. Qualifications 5+ years of medical device sales experience, preferably in surgical imaging, OR integration, power instruments, or arthroscopic disposables. Bachelor’s degree. Demonstrated ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market. Comfortable in open operating room environments. Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and terminology as it relates to Arthrex. Knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures. Ability to learn a high level of technical information, anatomy, and indications as they relate to surgery and procedures. Prior sales experience is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Training MS Office; strong public speaking and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities with multiple priorities. Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure. Self-assurance and competitive drive; ability to work independently and take responsibility for decisions. Adherence to Compliance and Code of Conduct policies. Equipment Current driver’s license; access to own transportation.
