Outbound Sales Director - Premium Goods

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead tactical sales execution and team development in our expanding organization. Our client specializes in 17th-20th century fine art, high-end jewelry, and antiques, serving discerning collectors and luxury buyers. As we scale our operations, we need a dynamic leader who can bridge strategy and execution while building a strong sales bench for the future. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development: Coach, mentor, and develop 5-6 sales consultants to meet and exceed individual and team performance goals Sales Strategy Execution: Work closely with senior leadership to implement tactical sales strategies that drive double-digit revenue and profit growth Pipeline Management: Lead pipeline development, forecasting, and performance monitoring using advanced CRM tools (Salesforce, Gong) Process Optimization: Implement and refine sales processes to increase efficiency, customer engagement, and conversion rates Performance Management: Transform underperforming team members into top contributors through individualized coaching plans Client Relationship Building: Support long-term customer relationship development with focus on increasing customer lifetime value Sales Analytics: Analyze sales trends and team performance, preparing regular reports and insights for executive leadership Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, operations, and gallery staff to ensure sales team has necessary tools, training, and product knowledge Outbound Strategy Leadership: Guide team in building robust pipeline through mix of outbound strategies (calls, emails, texts) and in-person selling
Sales Execution Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred Management Experience: 7-10 years of sales management experience, including leading teams and executing sales strategies Luxury Sales Background: 5+ years of experience selling luxury products or services, ideally in the 6-7 figure transaction range Team Development: Proven ability to transform underperforming team members into top contributors Technology Proficiency: Demonstrated success in optimizing sales processes and systems; advanced CRM skills required Sales Performance: Strong track record of building pipeline, closing high-value sales, and cultivating long-term client relationships Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to clearly convey expectations, strategies, and performance metrics Preferred Qualifications
CRM Expertise: Deep experience as a manager in Salesforce and Gong platforms Industry Experience: Background in luxury brands, high-end retail, or B2B sales Analytical Skills: High-level analytical capabilities for sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and reporting Leadership Style: Ability to work effectively with strong personalities while maintaining supportive and collaborative approach Strategic Thinking: Experience bringing innovative ideas for team structure and sales process improvement
