Established B2B/B2C organization seeks an outside sales professional to develop and manage relationships with SMB/SME clients in the technology and telecommunications space. The role emphasizes acquiring new business from warm and hot leads and managing accounts through the full lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct outside B2B sales activities to win new customers, prioritizing warm/hot leads over heavy cold outreach.
- Lead discovery meetings, craft tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and close agreements.
- Manage accounts after sale to drive product adoption, identify upsell opportunities, and increase retention.
- Maintain a robust pipeline in the CRM; record activities, produce forecasts, and report results.
- Work with technical and product teams to define solutions that meet client requirements.
- Track market trends and client feedback to refine territory strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven B2B sales experience preferred; experience in technology or telecommunications is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in business development and account management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management capabilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and common sales-enablement tools.
- Data-driven mindset; comfortable with KPIs, pipeline metrics, and forecasting.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced, hybrid setting.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation is commission-based with paid training and performance bonuses. Typical annual earnings are generally $50,000 to $90,000+ depending on results and territory. Ongoing coaching and product support are provided.
