As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint in the Transport Refrigeration Unit (TRU) industry — managing service and equipment sales across your assigned territory and strengthening relationships with both existing and new customers.
What You’ll Do: We’re looking for a driven, strategic, and service-minded sales professional who can:
Own your territory like a business, including providing input on annual sales forecasts
Help customers reduce cost per hour by offering knowledgeable equipment advice
Measure undercarriages and get hands-on with customer equipment when needed
Partner with Parts & Service Managers to create marketing initiatives and shared goals
Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all road and weather conditions
Support marketing and sales plans related to HVAC, trailer, and reefer equipment
Identify and research new business opportunities and build strategic plans to secure wins
Maintain consistent reporting, progress tracking, and goal alignment
Collaborate with internal teams to fuel innovation and improve execution
What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, who is:
5+ years of experience in B2B sales preferred
Valid Class C CDL driver’s license, with a clean driving record
Familiar with transport refrigeration, trailers, or heavy equipment industries
A natural communicator — able to build rapport through cold calls and door-to-door sales
Self-motivated and organized with strong territory management skills
Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools
Open to new ideas and continuous improvement
A true team player with a customer-first mindset
