We’re seeking an outside sales representative to identify new target buyers and upsell to current customers to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented outside sales expert that can prospect, present, and close deals efficiently. Compensation: $88,000 - $117,000 yearly Responsibilities: Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying your prospective customers quickly and thoroughly Identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages Show our solution to prospects with sales presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures Meet or surpass the monthly quota for sold business and lead requirements/ revenue-generating activities Create a competitive analysis, identify industry and product trends, and position our brand as the clear and obvious choice Client Consultation and Needs Assessment: Conduct a thorough needs analysis to understand clients’ insurance requirements Provide expert advice and recommendations on suitable insurance products and services Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients Explain policy features, benefits, and pricing effectively to ensure client understanding and satisfaction Relationship Building and Client Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service Qualifications: Deadlines and details motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team alike Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills Prefer a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales experience Some industry or product knowledge preferred and a High school diploma is required Proven track record in sales Previous sales experience is preferred but not required – if you have a passion for sales and a drive to succeed, we want to talk to you Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a high level of initiative Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation About Company Sherrill Insurance Agency partners with Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies to market and sell their products.
