Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth in the custom home and multifamily construction markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building materials sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to generate new business while maintaining strong connections with existing clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with builders, developers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Actively seek out and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including design, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Provide expert advice on company products, including trusses, framing materials, and other components, to help clients achieve their project goals.
  • Prepare and present professional proposals, quotes, and sales presentations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in building materials sales, with a focus on components like trusses, framing, and related products.
  • Strong knowledge of the custom home and multifamily construction markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
