THE JOB

This newly established role is perfect for a relationship-driven sales professional with a solid grasp of how modern software is scoped, built, and delivered. Youll act as the companys external voice, cultivating trusted relationships, opening new accounts, and keeping existing ones engaged. This is a consultative, high-touch sales rolenot a high-volume or transactional positiondesigned to foster long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with both existing and prospective clients
  • Engage with mid-market and enterprise buyers at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Lead the entire sales cycle, from the first conversation to signed agreements
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering and delivery teams to ensure alignment and readiness
  • Contribute to shaping future sales strategy as senior leadership transitions into advisory roles


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience selling professional services, software development, or technical consulting
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)ideally from prior roles such as sales engineer, technical recruiter, or BD representative at a dev agency
  • Comfortable working without scripts or dashboardsable to build pipeline through presence, insight, and relationships
  • Active participation or interest in industry groups like TAO, SIM, or technical user communities
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to connect with CTOs, Product Leaders, and CEOs
  • Demonstrated job stability and an interest in growing into leadership or partner-level roles
